Transursoaia (DN1R)
DN1R is a national road in Romania that offers a scenic and adventurous journey through the Apuseni Mountains. Also known locally as the Transursoaia, this road stretches for about 80 kilometers, connecting the towns of Huedin and Albac. The road is known for its winding nature and high-altitude sections, reaching over 1,300 meters above sea level at Ursoaia Pass. It traverses the Apuseni Natural Park, providing breathtaking views of the mountainous landscape, dense forests, and traditional Romanian villages.
