Transapuseana is a scenic mountain road in Romania’s Apuseni Mountains. The road is approximately 78 kilometers long and connects the city of Aiud to the Bucium-Abrud area, both located in Alba County. The route winds through charming rural communities and picturesque villages like Râmeț, Ponor, Mogoș, and Bucium. The road has been modernized and paved, making it accessible for most types of vehicles and a major development for the region’s economy and tourism.

A large part of the road is only one and a half lanes wide. It can be difficult for some motorhomes and caravans to drive on.
