Cheia (DN1A – Bratocea)
Bratocea Pass, also known as Pasul Bratocea, is a mountain pass situated at an elevation of 1,272 meters (4,173 feet) above sea level in the Carpathian Mountains. It lies on the boundary of Prahova and Brașov counties. The pass is traversed by Road DN 1A, a completely paved but challenging road featuring a series of hairpin turns and a maximum gradient of 7.8%. It serves as a significant connection between Muntenia and Transylvania.
